Threads of Fatal Mourning Fall 2025, features fourteen looks, and one sewn garment. This collection is derived from my muse Edgar Allan Poe's gothic romantic works. Threads of Fatal Mourning captures the universal themes in Poe's stories surrounding Death, Grief, Despair, and Isolation. The designs touch on the meaning behind his works. As the collection progresses, the garments become more distressed and decayed, mirroring death and grief, something everyone must face, and some of Poe’s deepest fears. I love speaking on the unspoken, darker topics that nobody vocalizes. These fears live inside of all of us, yet we are afraid to speak about them, leaving people to battle alone.
